Upload a bank statement (CSV) instead of, or as well as, the bank feed

Side menu → Reconciliation → Upload statement (top of the screen). In internet banking, download the transactions as CSV for the dates you want and pick that file. BarkBus recognises the common NZ bank layouts (and works out an unfamiliar one), shows a preview, and adds the deposits on Confirm. Money going out is skipped.

Uploading an overlapping range is safe: a deposit already on file — from an earlier statement or the bank feed — isn't added twice. Then matching runs straight away, the same as for the feed. ⚙ → Import history lists every upload with an Undo.

Use a statement for anything older than 12 months (the bank feed can't reach it), for an account that isn't connected, or while the feed needs reconnecting.

Outside New Zealand there is no bank feed, so statement uploads are how payments come in. The Money card on Home tells you when a statement is due.
