BarkBus is made in Cromwell, Central Otago, by Tim and Lu, who run their own dog walking business on it every morning. It is built for dog walkers, daycares and pack schools everywhere: in New Zealand, in Australia and around the world, with maps and an owner app that work wherever you walk.
Wherever you are, said plainly
- New Zealand bank feed. Connect your NZ bank through Akahu and payments come in on their own and match to the right owner. Akahu covers New Zealand banks only.
- Every other bank. Outside New Zealand there is no live feed yet. Upload a bank statement instead and BarkBus matches the payments the same way.
- Maps and the owner app. They work anywhere in the world, in the browser and on iPhone and Android.

Does it work outside New Zealand?
Yes, in Australia and anywhere else. The daily run, maps, owner app, billing and homestay all work the same. The one difference is the bank: outside New Zealand you upload a bank statement rather than connecting a live feed.
What currency is it in?
